About the Role:
Alper JCC Miami is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Basketball Coach to lead youth basketball sessions in a positive, structured, and fun environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a safe and engaging experience for participants.

The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a safe and engaging experience for participants.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursdays: 4:00 PM - 6:15 PM.
- Saturdays: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead basketball practices focused on skill development and game fundamentals.
- Coaching a youth league team
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for players of varying skill levels.
- Ensure participant safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with JCC staff, parents, and participants.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions.
Qualifications:
- Prior basketball coaching or playing experience (youth coaching preferred).
- Ability to work well with children and teens.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Dependable, energetic, and professional demeanor.
- Background check required.
